Memorial of the Resistance and the Deportation of the Loire
Inaugurated in 1999, the Memorial of the Resistance and the Deportation of the Loire is devoted to the Second world war and particularly to the Résistance and the Déportation in the concentration camps and extermination Nazis.
It reconsiders the occupation of the town of Saint-Etienne and the department of the the Loire and explains the living conditions (rationing, life of the Jews, the bombardments etc), Resistance and the universe concentrationnaire Nazi.
This small museum has also an important information center on the Second world war.
