Memorial of the Holocaust (Miami Beach)

The memorial of the Holocaust to Miami Beach in Florida, is a monument in memory of the victims of the Holocauste by the Nazis during the Second world war.

The project was conceived by a committee of the survivors of the Shoah in 1984.
The monument was created by Kenneth Treister on a site indicated by the Commission of the town of Miami Beach, with the crossing of the avenue of the meridian line and the Dade boulevard.

The memorial was inaugurated Sunday February 4th 1990, with like guest the Nobel Prize of peace Elie Wiesel.
