Memorial of Fighting France
The June 18th 1960, the Général de Gaulle inaugurated with the Mont Valérien the Mémorial of Fighting France, where 16 bodies of combatants, originating in France and the colonies rest, symbolizing the various shapes of the engagements for the Libération. This site was selected because it was the place of the majority of the executions of resistant in France.
