Melt! festival
Since 1997 the Melt! festival takes seat with Ferropolis, the “town of iron” in Germany in the commune of Gräfenhainichen located at the south of Berlin. Following financial problems, the festival did not take place in 2003. The styles of music proposed are mainly the Rock and the Electronic music.
The site of Ferropolis is one of the characteristic of the festival. This museum with open sky of industrial machines dating from the 20th century to go up to 30 meters height, 130 meters length, and weighing 1.980 tons.
The festival accommodated in 2006 ten thousands of festival from July 14th to 17th.
