Melody in basement
Mélodie in basement is a film free - Italian carried out by Henri Verneuil, left in 1963
Synopsis
Charles, about sixty, just left prison, is not made any more any young person. He finds his house in Sarcelles with difficulty, where the bars and the turns pushed. His Ginette wife proposes to him to move in the South, to take a trade and to run happy days, but Charles conceives one kind of retirement: gilded and with the sun. For that, it must make another blow, the last, that “of a life” and this time it will be the good one: the casino of Cannes. All is ready. It misses only one accomplice, it cannot make the all alone blow. He then contacts a young shady met in prison, Francis Verlot. To them two, is added Louis Naudin, the brother-in-law of Francis, a mechanic who will act as driver. Once the formed trio, they do not have any more but to play the partition written so well by avoiding any wrong note. It will act initially for Francis, disguised as an aristocrat, to allure a dancer in order to be able to penetrate the day wanted in the slides of the casino.
Comments
- the intrigue points out curiously that of the Unknown of Las Vegas ( Ocean' S Eleven , 1960), with Frank Sinatra.
