Mello Lake
The Lac of Mello whose Corsica name is Lagu di Melu is a lake of Haute-Corse located in the high valley of the Restonica at ten kilometers of the town of Corte. It is located at one hour of walk of the sheep-fold of Grotelle, starting point of the tourist tour of the 2 lakes of the Restonica, Mello (Melu) and Capitello (Capitellu).
The glacial lake of origin, which is cold 6 months out of 12, gives rise to the river Restonica, an affluent of the Tavignano.
