Melitta is a mark of blotting paper coffee filter.

the first name of inventeuse the " Melitta Benz"
At present, the Melitta firm belongs to the Benz brothers.

History

1908 : Melitta Benz, a housewife of Dresden, in order to filter its coffee, bores holes in the content of a coffee pot, there places a sheet of paper blotter, puts coffee and pours warm water, the filter paper coffee was born.
1932 : first appearance of the logo, in handwritten form.

The company has very many divisions, in particular with the Brésil, in Sweden, with the the United States, the Japan, in France and with the Canada. Melitta Spain was closed in 2004.
