Melanoleuca

The melanoleuques constitute a kind Champignons Basidiomycètes of the family of the Tricholomatacée S.

The name of the kind, built on the Greek mixed , " noir" and leukos , " blanc" , refers to the marked two-color printing of its principal S.

They are mushrooms to the aspect tricholomoïde, though slimmer and with the wide hat, quickly flattened and mamelonné, bringing them closer to some Collybie S. the blades are generally white or clear for a hat darker brown-gray. They often push in the meadows or the clearings.

The kind includes/understands several hundreds of species, of which most common are:

  • Melanoleuca arcuata
  • Melanoleuca cognata
  • Melanoleuca grammopodia
  • Melanoleuca melaleuca
  • Melanoleuca vulgaris , which is the species-type
