The area Meknès-Tafilalet (Arab: rear RTL مكناستافيلالت) is one of the sixteen areas Morocco, creates after the law of decentralization of 1997. It is in the north of the country. It extends on 79.210 km ² (vaster than the Czech Republic) and is populated of: 2141527. Its capital is Meknès which is located at its extreme North.
