Mek It Happen

Mek It Happen is a French-speaking label promoting the movement Dancehall.

History

It is into 2000 that Crucial L. and Psycho, the brother of Lord Kossity, decide to found a label in order to promote the dancehall, estimating that this movement missed unit. They leave the French-speaking first one Riddim, with West-Indian artists like Lord Kossity or Daddy Mory.

After having given in the Sound system, the label is directed towards the sound dancefloor and leaves to it from now on worship Savage Riddim, with in particular Admiral T ( So Strong ), and the Horseride riddim, which is not other than a remixée version of Savage, both products by Laskez. Success is with go and the reason other than is not flopée talented and French-speaking artists of various horizons (Guadeloupe, Martinique, Guyana, Co.-Lucie, etc). A version jamaïcaine will leave a few months later, with the cream of DJ jamaïcains like Sizzla, Red Rat or Anthony B.

The same year they find an agreement with the major ULM, which will enable them to leave a compilation the tubes Dancehall] of the year 2003, entitled " Ragga Dancehall #1" , and which will be also a big hit. In 2004, the label calls again upon [[Laskez]] and leaves it [[Aaxxia Riddim]], which remains traditional a dancehall still today, so much the French-speaking version (with the tubes of [[Lord Kossity]], [[Jamadom]], [[Daddy Mory]] or some [[Krys]]), which the version jamaïcaine ('' I coils dancehall '' [[Capleton]] is without any doubt the tube which marked it [[riddim]]).
