Meireki era
The era Meireki (in Japanese: ja 明暦) is one of the eras of Japan (ja 年号, nengō , literally “the name of the year”) according to the era Jōō and preceding the era Manji extending from the 1655 to the 1658. The reigning emperor was Go-Sai - tennō (ja 後西天皇).
