Mehdia
Mehdia (in Arab: المهدية) is a city of the Morocco. It is located in the area of Gharb-Chrarda-Blessed Hssen. It is a picturesque coastal small town located close to the town of Kénitra at 30 km at the North-East of the capital Rabat.
The fishing port, very picturesque with the mouth of the Wadi Sebou, the proximity of the biological reserve of the lake Sidi Boughaba with its forests and its colonies of rare birds, strong Spanish, Portuguese and Dutch, the kasbah of Yacoub Al Mansour, the beautiful islands of Cleihat and the proximity of the ancient sites of Banassa and Thamusida are to him indisputable assets to develop tourism of this village, still little known. Its long sand beaches end also are very appreciated by the surfers and the bodyboardeurs.
