Mehdi Charef
Mehdi Charef is a writer, realizer of cinema and author of French theater, born the October 21st 1952 with Maghnia in Algérie.
It came to France at the age ten years, and lived the transit houses and the Bidonville S of the Paris region. Wire of workmen, he worked itself in factory of 1970 to 1983, as setter.
He came to the cinema when Costa-Gavras advised to him to carry out itself the cinematographic version of its novel the with the harem of Archi Ahmed .
In 2005, it signed a first play, 1962 , evoking the end of the Guerre of Algeria.
