Meghann Shaughnessy

Meghann Shaughnessy , born on April 13rd, 1979 in sport with Richmond in Virginia, is an American tennis player , Professionnel since 1996.

11th world in 2001, its best classification, it gained gained six titles into simple over the circuit WTA and fifteen in double.

Its best weapon is its service, one of most powerful of the circuit, as its record of twenty-two attests it aces opera hats in only one match.

Its career

Mehgann Shaughnessy made its beginnings on the circuit of the WTA in 1996 with the tournament of Budapest and rose in signal 100 in 1998. In 2000, it gained its first title WTA with Beijing thanks to a victory finally against Iroda Tulyaganova. At 28 years, Meghann adds a new title to its prize list by gaining Tier IV of Barcelona by easily dominating Rumanian the Edina Gallovits (which it met for the first time), in two sets, 6/3 6/2.
