Megaman (video game, 1987)
Megaman is a play of platform left in 1987, developed and published by Capcom. This play is the first of the long series of the Megaman.
Synopsis
With the 21e century, the world sees human and robots to cohabit. A scientist specialized in the robots, the Dr. Light assity of Dr. Wily, created eight robots in order to help humanity: Rock'n'roll , Roll , Cutman , Gutsman , Fireman , Iceman , Elecman and Bombman . However, the Dr. Wily , jealous of the success of Light reprogrammed these robots in order to put them at its own service. The Dr. Wily sent his six robots then to attack and dominate the world. The only hope against Wily being to send another super-robot against its army, Rock which resisted the reprogramming carries voluntary to be transformed. Concept and mechanisms of play
At the time, this play has some innovations of size. One can traverse the six first levels in any order, and each one is represented by a Boss. What could appear as a detail takes all its importance when the other characteristic of this play is known: when the player kills one of the boss of end of level, it recovers its weapon. However, each boss at a weak point, and each one of these weapons inflict damage corresponding to this weak point. The screen of selection of the levels makes it possible to choose among these six levels, and when they all are finished, the seventh and last level appear in the middle of the screen, in the place of the text “Select Training course, Close Start”. Levels
MegaMan is a play of platform. In each level, the hero meets enemies and obstacles. Differences of the bearing
The bearing on PlayStation Portable named Megaman Powered Up comprise several differences:- all graphics were remade, using graphics of Powered Up ;
- the characters have voice;
- the Killer Bullet do not fly any more in an unforeseeable way but in straight line;
- only one shooting of gun-laser at the same time, instead of three before;
- the shootings of Mega buster do not pass any more through the walls;
- the energy of the weapons not equipped fill;
- the Sniper Joes are not vulnerable any more when they jump;
- once Magnet Beam is collected, it is possible to use it immediately;
- all the Boss now have their own video of introduction. The robots appear simply, whereas the Yellow Devil and CWU-01P did not appear that once their bar of energy filled;
- Guts Blocks are not available any more at the time of the combat against Gutsman . Instead of waiting until it has one of them there which falls from the ceiling, Gutsman pushes one of them on the ground, like it does it in the novel mode of play.
- both Guts Blocks are placed on each side of the room of Elecman and not on the same side;
- the four parts of the level of the Dr. Wily can be selected individually, instead of doing them all the four after;
- when one fights the robots in the level of the Dr. Wily , the music of the boss starts, in the place of the normal music of the level;
- the driving way with the Yellow Devil is a little longer. Moreover, the attack with its ray is used at the beginning of the combat (before its energy is filled), and there are two blobs of less to avoid;
- instead of falling before and after the engagements with Cutman and Elecman in the level from the Dr. Wily , of the doors was added;
- in the level of the Dr. Wily , the player falls now instead of going on the right before the combat against CWU-01P . There are also two Guts Blocks on each side of dirty, instead of the four in the medium.
