Some are composed of simple a physical Examen, also called clinical examination : it requires only simple instruments between the hands of a Médecin, and can be realized in its cabinet. Others require equipment more sophisticated and/or the use of a sterile environment.
Some examinations require Test S on samples of fabric or the body liquids which will be sent to a medical Laboratoire for analysis. Some Test S chemical simple (as the measurement of pH of the urine) can be measured directly in the consulting room of the doctor. sometimes the possibility of a False-negative or false-positive must be confirmed by a setting in culture starting from samples.
Certain examinations can also be carried out on a person died within the framework of a Autopsie.
The medical examinations can be classified in two categories:
In general, the first requires an effraction of the skin more important than a simple venous puncture, can be unpleasant, requires sometimes a local Anesthésie or general, can require a hospitalization and comprises a certain number of side effects, even, of accident risk. The distinction between these two types of examination if is not sliced in a certain number of cases. The compilation of the whole of the data of the medical examination constitutes the Medical file which can be handwritten or computerized.

- determination of the weight and the size
- measurement of the blood Pressure
