Mediator of Faso

The mediator of Faso is a Ombudsman. It was instituted by the organic law n°22/94/ADP of May 17th, 1994. The General Tiémoko Marc Garango was the first Mediator of Faso, by Décret n°94-494/Près of on December 29th, 1994.

History

The institution of the Burkinabe Mediator is inspired by the texts of its French counterpart.
