Medal tourism

The medal of tourism was created by the decree n°89-693 of 1989. It is intended to reward the people who, by their voluntary contribution or their professional value, like by the duration and the quality of the rendered services, actually contributed to the development of tourism and the activities which are attached to it (cultural leisures, establishments of lodging, structures tourist, cultural establishments, gastronomical establishments, etc…). This decoration comprises 3 levels and cannot be allotted to the elderly of less than 30 years: - the bronze medal is allotted after at least 12 years of services rendered to the cause of tourism, - the money medal is at least allotted 5 years after the bronze medal, - the gold medal is at least allotted 5 years after the money medal, except duly justified exceptional titles.

The medal of tourism is given to the member elect " In the name of the Minister for Tourisme".
