The Médaille of the ACP STATE for exceptional contributions of career to physics is given annually by the Canadian Association of the physicists and physicians. It was created in 1956 and is decreed each year.
It rewards:
1. a remarkable contribution in physics during one prolonged period, and/or
2. a recent exceptional contribution
