Medal of Overseas
The medal of overseas is old the colonial Médaille, created the July 26th 1893 which by change of name became medal of overseas by decree, the June 6th 1962.

the ribbon: blue sky with three white vertical bands, a power station of 7 mm and two side of 2 Misters
- the medal: work of the engraver Georges Lemaire, out of money. A face represents the effigy of the capped Republic of a helmet, ringed words: “French Republic”. The reverse represents a terrestrial sphere posed on trophy of military attributes with the legend “MEDAL Of OVERSEAS”
- Bélière: Out of money, made of branches of bay-trees.
- Staples: In vermeil and carrying the inscription of the territory where the countryside (one of the last created was held: Coast-with Ivoire ).
