Medal linnéenne

The Médaille linnéenne (more precisely the gold medal ) is allotted by the Société linnéenne of London since 1888. It is decreed every year and rewards in alternation a Botaniste or a Zoologiste. Since 1958, it rewards the same year two specialists. This medal was out of gold until in 1976 from where its old name of “Gold medal of the Company linnéenne”.
