Mechanics of the nonhomogeneous mediums

The mechanical of the nonhomogeneous mediums is the branch of the Physique which studies the behaviors of the mediums or coexist various parts and whose behavior of the various parts depends on the other parts.

One can study in particular the interface between a liquid medium and gas which gives rise to forces called surface Tension which are expressed in particular through the Loi of Laplace or the Loi of Touches. The surface tension can be controlled by surface-active agents.

One can also study the interface between a liquid medium and a solid medium. One can quote as example the Capillarité described by the Loi of Jurin or define a Coefficient of damping. Another example is the study of the Colloïdes

The coexistent mediums can be all nonmiscible liquids but. What gives the opportunity to study phenomena like the Coalescence.
