A mechanical assembly is the connection different Pièce S from a unit or product. It is also a whole of Procédé S and technical solutions making it possible to obtain these Liaison S.

Degree of assembly

One distinguishes before a whole assembly by his degrees of freedom, i.e. the possible Mouvement S relative independent between the assembled parts.

Types of assemblies

One distinguishes then various types of assembly:

Permanent

Nondismountable assembly: the connection cannot be demolished without destroying at least a part even the assembled parts.
Welding.

Dismountable

The connection is conceived so as to be dismounted and gone up without deterioration of the parts.
Assembly screwed, Riveting, Nail tage, Brazing.

Direct

The assembly does not require adapters.

Indirect

One or more adapters are used.

During the creation of an assembly with a Software of CAD), it is possible to import various parts designed beforehand to bind and, therefore to test connections of different nature.
