The Mebyon Kernow (in French: Fils of Cornouailles ) is a Political party cornic, defending the autonomy of the Cornouailles.

He is member of the European free Alliance.

The first meeting between 13 members of Mebyon Kernow took seat the January 6th 1951 in Oates Hotel of Redruth. Helena Charles was elected by it first president.

Its executive council comprises from now on 14 members, directed by Dick Cole (the leader of the party). Barry Andrew (Deputy Leader), Conan Jenkin (Officer Communications) and Roy Schama (Treasurer) are the other principal leaders.

The party is currently represented in four of the six councils of district of the Cornouailles like in municipal councils and parochial.
