Me y\' has some to want under
Me y' has some to want under is a comedy written and carried out by Jean Yanne in 1973.
Synopsis
After an unhappy initiative the financial adviser Benoît Lepape is laid off. He convinces his uncle, a militant trade unionist, to invest the funds of the union and to apply capitalist methods in a company of bicycle which will be success, then in other adventures like a church.
“ the world is made imbeciles who fight against remained to safeguard a company absurdity. ”, it is by this sentence that the film of Jean Yanne is completed, Me y' has some to want under , left in 1973.
As always in its films, behind humor, there is a true reflection, and Jean Yanne is caught some here with capitalism. He shows of them the advantages, but especially the limits, leading us to think that capitalism and social is completely incompatible. From where the sentence of this surpuissant owner interpreted by Jean Yanne, “ then even when I want to make the social one, even when I want to make a gift with the workmen, I earn money? ”.
However, the trade unionists are not saved, so much for the nonsense of their behavior (rather to ruin a company that to let believe that an owner can be good) that for their double game and their complicity with the large capital (cf the trade-union leader being able by bicycle with a cap style 1936 to discuss with the chief the owners which awaits it in its Rolls). The film contains many reminiscences of May 68 (the manif one of the students of the beautiful quarters).
Benoît Lepape thought that the best weapon against capitalism was capitalism itself. But when he wants to withdraw himself to give the capacity to the workmen, it is them which do not want any.
Finally, the class struggle still has beautiful days in front of it, because it is useful to all… at least, as long as one will want to safeguard this company absurdity.
