Me rirt (in Arab: rear RTL مريرت) is a city of the Moyen Atlas with the Morocco, it is the 2nd municipality of the Province of Khénifra, to 30 km of its place chief, located at: 1113 m of altitude.
Its urban development is due to the presence of rich person mining resources of Jbel Aouam (Plomb, Zinc, Argent, Or and Tungstène) whose exploitation goes back to the European Moyen-âge.
The city counts approximately: 38000 Berber inhabitants of origin .
On a hill located vis-a-vis the city the inscription is: " God, people and the King ".
The rural communes of El Hammam and Oum Errabiaa, which depends administratively on the area Meknès-Tafilalet, are old residences of the French occupants at the time of protectorate.
