History of Madaure
It is on the site of an old numide city that the Roman city of Madaure, or Madaurius , was founded under the Flaviens.
In the beginning colony veterans, Madaure was attended by the students for his university considered for its specialization in Philosophie. Saint-Augustin had made his studies there, as well as the philosopher Apulée who in is originating.
