McFarlane Toys

McFarlane Toys is an American manufacturer of figurines creates in 1994 by Todd McFarlane, the author of Spawn.

These figurines are not toys for child but is addressed rather to the teenagers and to the adults and are the subject of collections by the fans.

At the beginning, the figurines are based on the characters of the cartoon Spawn with 30 series devoted to these characters. Then figurines are produced on other series and films of which the rights are bought like Alien, Alien against Predator, Napoleon Dynamite, the funeral Weddings of Tim Burton, Wallace and Gromit, Shrek, Simpson and Lost.

The series of the Movies Maniacs proposes many characters resulting from the cinema of the fantastic like Chucky, Massacre with the slicer,…

In the figurines house, one finds also the series McFarlane' S Monsters (fantastic monsters), McFarlane' S Military (military of the American army) and McFarlane' S Dragons (of the dragons).

A series on the characters of the Raw pop music/rock'n'roll like Mötley, Slash, Elvis Presley, Beatles, Bon Jovi and KIS.

Also a series of small pockets of albums of rock'n'roll or posters of films reproduced in 3D: Led Zeppelin, Sex Pistols, Metallica, Jimi Hendrix and teeth of the sea, Friday the 13th, claws of the night and Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Lastly, McFarlane Toys is also a giant of the figurines of US sport with under license the five principal leagues of the American sports. These figurines represent sportsmen in situation with material and official shirt. (except the very first series when McFarlane did not have the rights yet.) Figurines of the leagues are thus found: NHL, NFL, MLB, NBA and Nascar, these last being available only to the the United States.
