McCoy verdadero (venda)

Mark Dayton (born in 1947) is an American politician, member of the Democratic party of the farmers and workmen of Minnesota (Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party - DFL) and senator of the Minnesota to the Congrès of the United States since 2001.

Mark Dayton was born the January 26th 1947 with Mineapolis, Minnesota.

Graduate of the University of Yale in 1969, it works initially as teacher with New York.

Unfortunate candidate with the senatorial elections of 1982, he became the legislative assistant of the senator Walter Mondale.

Of 1991 with 1995, Mark Dayton is listener of the state of Minnesota.

In 2000, it is elected with the Sénat of the United States after having beaten the outgoing titular senator, the republican Rod Grams. Heir to the family fortune of the supermarkets Dayton, it financed his electoral campaign with height of 12 million dollars.

Following the attacks of September 11th, 2001, it was one of the rare members of the congress to show the board of inquiry of lies.

In October 2004, Dayton made close its offices of Washington DC until the presidential elections of November per fear of attack terrorrist, attracting itself many criticisms.

Perceived like faiblard, having few chances to be re-elected with the next senatorial elections, it gives up the February 9th 2005 contributing for a new mandate in order to preserve the chances of the democratic party to carry the seat in November 2006.
