Mazirot

Mazirot is a common French, located in the department of the the Vosges and the area Lorraine.

Its inhabitants is called Mazuriens.

Geography

Mazirot is located just downstream from Mirecourt in the valley of the Madon. The river is useful to him partially of limit with Poussay.
The village is only a few kilometres from Mirecourt. The road which carries out offer to it a superb panorama of the city of the Violin makers. The entry of the village (Poussay side) is marked by the presence of the residence of the Lords of Mazirot. A bridge spanning Madon carries out towards the village which developed with hillside on Right Bank of the river.

History

Rich person of a historical past, Mazirot offers by his church, his old cross, his typical habitat a beautiful occasion of stroll with discovered local inheritance but also of surrounding nature by borrowing his hiking trail.
