Mazinger Z
Mazinger Z ( マジンガー Z Majingā Z ) is a Japanese series of Manga created by Go Nagai, adapted in Anime. It is the ancestor of the series of Mecha. The series was created by the Studio Toei in 1972 according to the manga éponyme of Go Nagai and was diffused between the December 3rd 1972 and on September 1st 1974 on Fuji TV. In France, the series was diffused starting from 1988 on M6 in the emission Graffi' 6 .
History
Koji Kabuto (character present later in Goldorak under the name of Alcor in the French version) is the grandson of a famous scientist. When professor Kabuto is mortally wounded by the men of Doctor Hell, a megalomaniac baited with the conquest of the world, it reveals before dying in his grandson whom it designed a giant robot, Mazinger Z, able to stop the forces of the Evil. Koji takes the orders of Mazinger Z and manages to control it, putting in escape the henchmen of Hell. In the episodes which will follow, Mazinger Z and its allies will manage to overcome all the giant robots sent by Doctor Hell and to ruin its plans of conquest.Mazinger Z obtains a very great success in Japan. The series is diffused in Occident after Goldorak, where she is appreciated in particular in Italy and in the Hispanic countries.
Transition with Great Mazinger
In the last but one episode, Mazinger Z manages to come to end from Doctor Hell. But the last episode sees appearing new invaders, the empire of Mykene, face to which Mazinger Z is exceeded. Whereas all seems lost, new and mysterious giant robot appears, Great Mazinger. A remake of this last episode was proposed in OAV, under the title Mazinger Z Vs. The Grand General off Darkness . In this remake, Mazinger Z must fight against a whole army of Mykenes, but when Great Mazinger comes to its secour, it still manages to fight. In the series TV, Mazinger Z is beaten by 2 animals, of which one had a corrosive attack, with which alloy Z was destroyed.

An unperceived series worship in Japan relatively last in France, having been diffused too tardily.The hero of this series, Koji Kabuto, which is not other than Alcor de Goldorak, is a true hero for the Japanese who did not appreciate much his role reduced in Goldorak .
