Mazarine Marie Pingeot is a French écrivaine born the December 18th 1974 with Avignon (Vaucluse). It is the girl of François Mitterrand, old President of the French Republic; these family ties remained hidden general public until in 1994 even if certain journalists were with the current. She was elected administrator of the Institut François Mitterrand.

• the January 25th 1984, François Mitterrand, president of the Republic, recognizes Mazarine Pingeot, in front of notary.
• Schooling with the College Henri-Iv with Paris.
• In September 1994, it integrates the National university of Fontenay-Saint-Cloud, classified 4th on 35.
• In November 1994, its existence “is revealed” with the general public thanks to an article in the magazine Paris-Match . The journalistic mediums, were informed of its existence at the beginning of the first septennate of François Mitterrand but underwent pressures in order not to reveal it.
• Aggregate of Philosophy (received in July 1997 18th out of 73), it writes a thesis relating to Spinoza and teaches with the Université of Provence (with Aix-en-Provence).
• In 1998, it publishes a novel entitled First Novel , which profits from an intense press coverage and is accommodated by certain critics like: “a bulky book, embarrassed still a little” (Josyane Savigneau, Le Monde , April 3rd 1998). This work will be sold with 60  000 specimens and will be translated in several languages.
• In 2000, parallel to a journalistic career (it is one moment holder of an irregular chronicle in the magazine It ), it publishes Zeyn or the Reconquest , a novel much less better accommodated than the first, which will be sold with some 12  000 specimens.
• In 2001, it meets, with the Villa Médicis of Rome, that which will become his/her companion, the Morrocan Mohamed Ulad-Mohand (born in 1966), then boarder of this academy, today realizer and producer of cinema.
• In 2003, it is chroniqueuse arts person in the emission Field in your room of Michel Field, then, starting from 2004, in That balances in Paris , always of Michel Field and diffused on the television channel Paris Première.
• 2003 sees also the publication of a test, They said to me which I was , which treats its readings. The form, of the cards of reading connected to its personal experiences, allured a certain number of criticisms: “As much its novels are tarts, as much this literary test is sympathetic nerve. ” written Eric Olivier in Le Figaro (May 6th 2003). 16  000 specimens will be sold in one year.
• In February 2005 left its fourth work, bent Bouche , always at Julliard. This autobiographical account appearing itself as a diary has an initial pulling of 200  000 specimens.
• In January 2006, for the tenth birthday of died of his/her father, Mazarine signs the foreword of the book of Stephan Trano, Mitterrand, a business of friendship , in which it crosses its testimony with that of Jean-Christophe Mitterrand, for the first time.
