Mazaios or Mazée is a Persian satrap at the time of the period of domination of the Achéménides.

It is named satrap of Cilicie towards 361 av. J. - C. under the reign of Artaxerxès II and is seen maintained at this station under the reigns of Artaxerxès III, Arsès and Darius III. In 334 av. J. - C., whereas Alexandre Large the approach, it is replaced by Arsamès which appears unable to prevent the Macedonians from crossing the Portes Ciliciennes. It is difficult to know if Mazaios joins then in Alexandre at this time (towards 333 av. J. - C., at the time of its stay with Tarse) or later. Indeed, it seems not to have known to prevent the king of Macedonia to cross the Tigre (river) in 331 av. J. - C. little before the Bataille of Gaugamèles and to be themselves rejoined after the battle. It is then named, by Alexandre the Large one, satrap of Babylon, the first dignitary Persian at such a station in the empire that Alexandre is conquering. He dies in 328 av. J. - C.
