Mayrhofen

Mayrhofen is a tourist small town of Austria located at the bottom of the valley of the Ziller (Zillertal) in the the Tyrol

It is a station of holiday the summer for the departure of many excursions towards the surrounding tops, its tourist vocation dates of more than one hundred years.

The population can reach more 10  000 inhabitants (instead of 3  900) in tourist peak season.

It is a ski station the winter, the ski is practiced on the solid mass of the Penken, until 2  250  m by 76  km of tracks.

Places and monuments

The parish church of the assumption has a turning twisted Clocher from right to left.
