Events

Morocco: the Marinides, confederation of Berber Zénètes, seize Meknès. Saïd, successor of the caliph Almohade Abd el-Ouahid II, stops their progression temporarily. The sultan marinide Muhammad Ben Abd Al-Haqq is killed. His/her brother Abû Yahyâ succeeds to him.

Seville, Ceuta, Tlemcen and Meknès recognizes the suzerainty of Yahyâ I, sovereign hafside of Tunis.

June: Nearly six thousand riders Turkish of the Khârezm, driven out by the Mongolian , arrives in Syria, plundering and holding to ransom the cities.
