Mayombe
The Mayombe or Mayumbe is an area geography of the Western coast of the Africa occupied by low-mountains extending to north from the mouth from the Fleuve Congo. Its territory extends on that from the Democratic republic from Congo, of the Angola (enclave of Cabinda), of the République of Congo and the Gabon.
Mayombe more specifically indicates as a Democratic republic of Congo the north-Western part of the province of the Low-Congo located out of Right Bank of the river (main cities and localities: Boma, Moanda, Tshela).
The Railroad of Mayombe connected Boma to Tshela, with an extension envisaged towards the République of Congo. It was dismounted under the mode of Mobutu Sese Seko and its ways reinstalled near Gbadolite.
Mayombe in Republic of Congo is traversed by the Railroad Congo-Ocean.
