Mayito Will rivet
Mario Rivera “Mayito” east is a Chanteur, Compositeur and arranger born with Piñar LED Rio (Cuba) in 1966. He studied the battery and the Piano. At the beginning of its career, he worked with the singer-compositrice Albita Rodríguez. In 1992, it joined Los Van Van, the most popular group of Cuba, called the “cuban Rolling Stones”, directed by Juan Formell. Thanks to its stamp and with its power of expression, “Mayito” became a true idol of the cuban music scene. Parallel to its work with Los Van Van, it took part in the recording of various albums and even recorded its own album, a homage to Miguelito Cuní and Chappottín. Mario Will rivet and its group, Los Van Van, obtained a Grammy Award in 1999. It since recorded its second album solo for Timba Records, left fine 2004.
