Maya Mémin
Maya Mémin (Bergerac, June 6th, 1943 -) is a French artist engraver-plasticienne . She lives and works with Rennes.
She studied engraving and painting at the regional School of the Art schools of Rennes and taught in the Art schools of Phnom-Penh to the Kampuchea of 1968 to 1970 like with the Emile-Zola College in Rennes between 1974 and 1992.
Its practice is based on the fact of printing with a thought of painter (installations of banners of colors). In parallel it developed an activity around the Livre of artist with writers like Yves Bergeret, Jacques Jose, Marc the Large, Bruno Geneste…
