The Rivière Maya (in Russian Майя , Мая ) is a River of Siberia, in Russia of Asia. It 1.053 km is long. It is one of principal the Affluent S of the Aldan, itself flow of the Lena. The Maya sprinkles the Krai de Khabarovsk and the Yakoutie.
The river occurs in the solid mass of Djougdjour, in the area of Khabarovsk. Its course follows initially a south-western direction, then takes a north-western direction starting from Nelkan. Then it moves towards north until Aim, where it enters in Yakoutie. Further, the Maya is thrown in the Aldan, close to the town of Oust-Maya.
The basin of the Maya has a surface of 171.000 km ². It is cold from October at May and navigable on 500 km since its Point of junction with Aldan. Its principal affluent is Youdoma.
