• 1871 . Spain: the Sociedad LED ferrocarril of Isabel II takes the denomination of Nueva Compañia del Ferrocarril de Alar has Santander

XXe century

• 1987 . Europe: last day of circulation of the international trains TEE (Trans-Europ-Express train), except for four French TEE, the Jules Verne , the Gayant , the Faidherbe and the Kléber . Starting from the summer service 1987/88, beginning the following day May 31st, they are replaced for the majority by trains Euro City.

XXIe century

• 2005 . France: Lorraine circulation in of the first private train, the company CFTA-Cargo liner (group Connex), on the national railway network managed by RF.
