Maxus

The Maxus is a Fusée-sonde European jointly manufactured by the Swedish company Swedish Space Corporation and by the German company MBB - Erno for research in Microgravité. It can reach a maximum altitude of 850 km and thus offer up to 13 minutes of Micropesanteur.

One uses it in particular for experiments of fusion of cells and electrophoresis.

Its first flight, the May 8th 1991, with failed; the second, the November 8th 1992, succeeded by carrying 420 kg of Payload for 716 km of altitude.
