Maximum Books

Created in 1981, Maximum-books was the leader of the French bookstores at reduced price with an innovation suggested in Paris: the installation of vending machines of paperbacks.

The company which employed 550 people on all the French territory, with a network of 145 sales outlets, was placed in file for bankruptcy on June 26th, 2006 and was liquidated on Tuesday, December 26, 2006. Maximum-books was sold “by apartments”.
