max (imilian) Wilhelm Gustav Moritz von Prittwitz und Gaffron (born on November 27th, 1848 in Bernstadt, rings of Oels in Low-Silesia; deceased on March 29th, 1917 with Berlin), was general after , member of the Superior council of the war of the kingdom of Prussia and finally commander-in-chief of the 8th army. It was since 1910 member of the Room of the Lords of Prussia and knight of justice about Johannites.
