Maxime Arseneau
Maxime Arseneau (Harbor-with-Houses, November 24th, 1949 in Quebec -) is a politician and a professor Québécois. He is the Député pequist of the Îles-de-la-Madeleine.
Biography
Native of Harbor-with-Houses, it obtains a BA in Histoire with the Université of Montreal in 1974. He receives a certificate in education later five years of the same universityArseneau teaches the history with the School commission of the Islands until in 1988. To the Cégep of Gaspésie and Islands, it directs the services of Continuing education.
Implied in the Québécois Party since 1977, he is also radio presenter with CFIM. At the time of the Québécois Referendum of 1995, it chairs the committee of Yes in its area.
Elected official appointed with the elections of 1998, he is minister responsible for the Islands then Minister for the Agriculture of 2001 with 2003.
Re-elected in April 2003 and 2007, it is currently Porte-parole of his party as regards Emploi, of Agriculture and Pêcherie S.
