Maximalism

The massimalismo was a current policy within the Italian Socialist party created by Giacinto Menotti Serrati in 1919.

The maximalist current supported to want to carry out objectives anticapitalists and revolutionists of the Socialisme, whereas in the facts it acted in optics reformist and member of Parliament.

Currently the term is also used to indicate the political kind extremist who tends to carry out the maximum of a program suitable for a party or a movement. He is opposed to the minimalism applied in policy.
