Geography

Maxey-on-Meuse is a village of the Vosgean North-West, to 12 km of Neufchâteau, 30 km of Toul and 35 km of Commercy.

The Meuse runs in Maxey where it receives water of the Vair, of the brook of Roises and two small brooks, that of Vau and that of Blanchonrupt. The presence of all these rivers supports fishing.
