max Robert is a printer and editor of art Suisse, born the March 26th 1908 with Tavannes and deceased with Moutier the November 3rd 1997.

After its schooling, max Robert achieves a training of typographer and followed the paternal traces by taking again little by little the head of the printing works, which it directed towards the edition of art in company of his Charles brother, painter trained at the school bâloise. Robert printing works published Small Jurassic the , daily newspaper founded in 1904 and taken again by the Newspaper of the Jura in 1956.

In 1948, with the disappearance of his/her brother, max Robert tightened the contacts tied with the artists and installed family printing works on the way of the artistic publications. In 1953, it created the Jurassic Club of arts, of which it was preserving thereafter, then honorary president.
