max Payne 2: The Fall off max Payne is a play of action and of objective shooting (contrary to a Jeu of subjective shooting) developed by a named Finnish company Remedy Entertainment and published by Rockstar Games; it will be related later to Xbox and PlayStation 2.

It is about the continuation of the play max Payne .

History

The years passed since the vendetta of max Payne against the Valkyrie, a Drogue which spread a such virus in the four corners of the city. Now, the Valkyrie is not any more that one bad memory in the town of New York, and the Tags with its glory are more present only in the darkest recesses of the city. Holding his promise, Alfred Woden raised the loads weighing on max Payne, which became then the inspector max Payne, working now for DEA, under the orders of Jim Bravura. He has like partner the incorruptible Winterson inspector, farm and known never not to make burs.

Payne did however not forget, and is at the edge of the suicide. It forgotten Mona Sax forever, and is terribly in love with it. He lives now in a sordid apartment, drowning his suffering in alcohol, his populated sleep of nightmares and his black and cruel past.

Its past ends however up catching up with it when it receives the order of the Exchange to go to inspect in a warehouse appartent in certain Vladimir Lem, where one would have heard shots. Lem, the chief of the Russian Maffia, only and last friend of max Payne. While going there, Payne falls on a series from agents from maintains armed, which try to kill it, after having, would seem it, plundered the weapons being in the Armurerie of the warehouse. While fleeing, max Payne fall on a woman who will still change her life: Mona Sax, supposed being dead years ago in the building of Aesir Corporation, after being taken a ball in the head. His body had however never been found. It would thus seem that she survived.

He learns very quickly that Sax returned in the topicality, where she is suspectée murder of the senator Gates. Max also learns that Winterson is charg3e d' affaires Gates, and that there could be a bond between the cleaners and the murder of Spoil, considering Mona Sax had appeared in the warehouse. In order to more, Payne sets out again to find Lem, which is held in its new restaurant: the Vodka Club , known in the past under the name of Ragna Rock'n'roll . Lem indeed repurchased the old nightclub of the satanic junkies belonging to the psychopathe Jack Lupino. However, when the cop of NYPD arrives at the Vodka Club , it attends a settling of score between Vinnie Gognitti and Vladimir Lem. The two gangs are indeed always in the war of the gangs, and Payne manages to save Vlad, wounded with the arm. Lem explains the situation then to him.

Since the time when Vinnie was a small striking working for Lupino, the things changed. Vinnie is now a powerful man, and entered in war with all the traffickers of weapons of the city, to plunder them, and exert a monopoly on the traffic of Armes. Vladimir being a trafficker of Armes, it is normal that Vinnie entered in war with him. But Lem is not a man who easily lets himself walk on the feet, and shows Vinnie to have attacked its Armurerie. For its wound with the arm, he is explained vaguely, by saying that it is just about a misunderstanding of businesses.

Max Payne sets out again then at his place and after a painful nightmare, receives the visit of Mona Sax, which is satisfied to say to him that a contract was put on the respective heads. At this moment, since a nearby apartment, a sniper makes fire on them. Sax flees then, and max is found trapped by cleaners, which undertake a total control of the perimeter. Facing the many killers, helped by the vicinity, max ends up going to the apartment sniper, where he learns that one it spy since months, épiant each one of his actions, his supervised phone line. He manages to flee, the cleaners having as a preliminary started a fire which devastated its apartment.

He receives then news of Mona Sax, and goes in his cushy job: an old warehouse of alarming movie studio, where it ends up finding Mona, which lights a little more its lantern to him.

It is the Cercle of the Initiates which put a contract on their head. Mona learns with max that there are dissensions in the Cercle of the Initiates : certain members want indeed to seize the power, which belongs for the moment to Alfred Woden. Mona has a contact among the members of the Cercle of the Initiates : Cochrane. The duet decides to visit him in a sublime skyscraper where one finds mainly only members of the Cercle of the Initiates . The cleaners unload then, and massacre the occupants of the apartments, of which famous Cochrane' . Max manages to escape from the cleaners, killing them all, like their Kaufman chief. It finds at the ground floor his colleagues of NYPD, who start to be wary of them. Max Payne indeed cooperated with a suspectée woman of murder, and Winterson starts to have some doubts about its honesty. On its side, Mona Sax is stopped.

The part becomes complicated when the cleaners explode a bends in the buildings of the police station, and infiltrate in the prisons, with for objective killing Mona. She however manages to escape to them, and max, which had to give its plate to Jim Bravura, also flees in the night, where he finds Vladimir Lem, who leads it to the cushy job of Mona. In way, max sees a costume of Captain Base-Ball Bad Boy , a media celebrity. Lem explains to max why it is about sound Trojan horse in the war against Vinnie. Max finds then Mona, and both are embraced. Alas, the meeting again are of short duration, because the cleaners emerge in force, even keener to kill them.

The two killers parviennenent to flee, each one on their side: Mona by the roofs, max while passing in one of the light vans of the cleaners, which leads it to an immense site of construction. Very quickly, Mona also went there.

The two heroes spent long moments in this site, separate one of the other. Max probably realized that the building site contained important stocks of Armes, the Armes that Vinnie had concealed with the other traffickers. At the time of a shooting between the killers, a fire started in part of the site. In order to survive, max had to jump from the building, being crushed violently on the ground. Trapped by the Snipers and the gangsters, max succeeds in surviving thanks to the reinforcement of Mona, which killed the majority of the enemies attacking Max.

The duet ends finally up being found, the killers having décampés. Winterson emerges abruptly, pointing its weapon on Mona. A terrible choice crossed the head of max Payne: to be faithful to its duty, or to listen to its heart… Mona is fugitive suspectée of murder, which shows Winterson to work with the Cercle of the Initiates . However, Winterson is famous to be incorruptible. The tension goes up firmly, and the shot tears the air.

Winterson crumbles, cut down with bearing end by max Payne. In its last breath, it drew on max, which stumbles then of the roof where it was, making to a fall almost mortal, Mona flown away again in nature.

Max Payne awakes practically dead at the hospital, in the mortuary. It ends up realizing that the cleaners are here, in order to make sure that it died. Obsessed by Mona and its murder, max tries to flee in the middle of the hospital filled with corpses. It will fall in particular on Jim Bravura, who will be grapeshot with bearing end by a killer armed with Uzi. Max will manage to escape from the hospital, and will decide to return visit to Alfred Woden, who will explain the situation to him.

Woden is unable to keep the control of the Cercle of Intiés , there was a revolt, a plot aiming at seizing the power to him. Reached of a cancer, Woden acknowledges to have evil to calm the situation, which was transformed into a war of the gangs by the organizer of the plot. Max is persuaded that Vinnie Gognitti is the organizer of the plot. Woden undeceives it: Vladimir Lem is the Master singer, who handled max since the beginning.

Eager to finish some, max goes to the restaurant of Lem, and finds a proof irrefutable with the basement: vans and combinations of the cleaners. No doubt, Lem and behind all that. Malheureusemernt, it is not there any more. Max goes in its office, and finds on the responder the irrefutable proof that Winterson was a traitress. The causes of this treachery are rather complicated: it is there question of love with Vladimir, and a baby that Winterson would seek to protect.

Feeling even guiltier, max goes where he thinks of finding Vladimir: in the territory of Vinnie Gognitti. The streets of this dilapidated district are torn by the war between the dealers of Vinnie Gognitti and the cleaners of Vladimir Lem. Max finishes however, after many combat, to find Vinnie, and discovers the " horse of Troie" of Lem: the enormous combination of Captain Base-ball Bad Boy contains an enormous bomb. Vinnie is trapped, and max decides to help it, in order to thwart the projects of Vlad. A long phase follows, Vinnie seeking by all the means to flee, slipping by for that in all the recesses of the district.

The duet finally managed to flee, direction Mona Sax. By learning that, Vinnie exclaims, affirming that Mona is with them. Max takes this warning for one is delirious parano of this man.

To the warehouse, they fall nose to nose on Vladimir Lem, who draws a ball in the head from max, before making dynamite Vinnie, pulverizing the warehouse of Mona. Mona will then face the flames to come to help Max. max will include/understand whereas Mona is that which drew in the arm from Lem, and which Vlad is now its new nightmare, its new cross. The old one was the Valkyrie. The Valkyrie, which removed its happiness to him. Will Vlad make in the same way?

Practically died, max goes with Mona to the Manor of Woden, where Vlad went, for ultimate confrontation, and the last revelations.
