Max Leognany
max Leognany , born in the the Vosges the March 12th 1913 and died in Paris the February 11th 1994, is an artist French.
He grows with Yport - on-Sea and between with the École of the fine arts. Its studies are stopped by the Second world war and he becomes draftsman-model maker in a workshop of Orfèvrerie. He directs himself then towards the Gravure of Monnaie S and Médaille S and obtains in 1945 the Prix of Rome of engraving in medal. He devotes himself mainly to the medal, but carries out also 40 sword S of academicians, of which that of Léopold Sédar Senghor and does not remain foreign with the Sculpture. He carries out also French and foreign decorations, of which that of the National order of the Merit. He is itself knight of the Légion of honor.
