Max Deutsch

max Deutsch (born the November 17th 1892 with Vienna and deceased the November 22nd 1982 with Paris) was a Compositeur, Leader and Professor of music free-Austrian.

Raise Arnold Schönberg, it founds in 1923 its own instrumental whole in Berlin, then in 1925 the Théâtre Der Jüdische Spiegel ( the Jewish mirror ) with Paris, from where many type-setters were launched (such as Arnold Schönberg, Anton Webern, and Alban Berg). As 1940 with 1945, Deutsch was used within the Foreign legion.

With Paris, among his students, one will count György Kurtág, Luis of Pablo as well as the critic musical Heinz-Klaus Metzger.

  • cinematographic Symphony in five movements for German film Der Schutz , a first in 1923
  • Apotheosis , opera of 1972
  • the Escape , damatic legend
  • Prayer for our other mortals symphony choral society on a text of Charles Péguy
  • two other symphonies.
